ABOUT THE TREE INSIDE

Thomas Frazier has just been told he has lung cancer. During an operation, doctors discover something truly remarkable; a tiny bark of a tree growing inside Thomas’ lungs. The bizarre discovery awakens within Thomas memories from his past, memories that may just reveal the answer of how the bark got inside Thomas’ lungs in the first place…

 

‘The Tree Inside’ is a surreal fantasy short film drama about the imagination of youth, the power of dreams and the mystery of life & death. Adapting a non‐linear narrative, the film explores these themes using a dream logic approach similar to the films of David Lynch, whilst using a strong visual style reminiscent of Tim Burton, Terry Gilliam and Guillermo Del Toro.

 

From award winning indie writer/director Mark Jeavons and starring Neal Craig in the lead role, The Tree Inside was shot over July 2014 and will be playing the festival circuit worldwide throughout 2015.
